My first pair of black shoes EVER
Well, if you don't count the clogs i had in high school. But still! Shiny! Bought for the occasion of going to the symphony with my mom this weekend, and then a party the next, to go with my new black dress. Guess i've turned into a girl...
Now you gotta watch for perforated decks, like the one on the Burnside Bridge in Portland. A couple years ago, for the 4th of July, the city closed the bridge to traffic and had a dinner festival on the deck. Needless to say, most women were carrying their heeled shoes in hand. Are you sure these ain't gonna aggravate your gimpy foot?
Oh, they certainly will hurt my foot. But since I really have no idea what the hell is wrong with it, I don't know what specifically to avoid. And hey, high heels are never *comfortable*, per se. So, the plan: Wear flip-flops to the event; don heels; remove as soon as event is over; look hot. :)
Damn, well remembered! And I'm outed. :) Given that I got those for < $5/pair, and that I only wore them onstage for concerts, I'm not sure they really count. But, okay, you're right ... :)
